NEMO (former Name: NewMetropolis)
NEMO is the biggest science centre in the Netherlands; an educational attraction where you can discover a world of science and technology in an entertaining way. NEMO takes you on a voyage of discovery between fantasy and reality. You will discover how scientific phenomena influence your daily life. You will learn about technology and engineering, ICT and bio- and behavioural sciences.
After a visit to NEMO you will go home with an even greater fascination for science and technology. NEMO is not a museum! In most museums you can't go near the exhibits, but at NEMO they actually invite you to touch everything and conduct your own experiments. Especially if you are between 4 and 16 years old, you will be in your element at NEMO. But even for those of you well past that age, NEMO is worth the visit. After all, you're never too old to learn.
